I truly think Shawna and I are twins of some sort. She and I are so incredibly alike it’s not even funny. When she and Myke got engaged, one of her first emails was to us – telling us how important photography was and how much she wanted us to be there for her big day. As we snacked on cupcakes and looked at some of the last remaining fall dates, we discussed places, plans and ideas, it became obvious that we were going to work so very well together. Their engagement session was on a super hot September day, but these two didn’t complain. They brought their sweet pup Cliff (who would later be the ring bearer at their fall wedding) along for some shots, which we loved. We spent the afternoon with them at two of their family properties and got some super sweet shots, coupled with a whole lot of laughter…and quite a few mosquito bites as well. All worth it though – we adore this couple!
