Maggie and Connor planned their Chattanooga wedding all the way from Texas. Maggie is in law school and Connor in med school. We have some idea of how draining that can be for sure! With ties to Cookeville too, they found us and met with us over skype. From the first meeting, we felt a connection, and even though we never got to meet them in person before their wedding day, it felt like we knew them, and Maggie and I got along like great friends. That’s the power of social media and I love love love having such connections with my brides. Ok, back to Chattanooga.
This couple’s wedding day was so very beautiful. Sun shining and glaring off the river in Chattanooga, every location was picturesque and lovely, but the real power was the couple and the love they shared. They have a love that’s mature for their age, a trust that felt so secure, but also an excitement that the beginning of their forever was starting and they couldn’t wait to walk through their lives together. Officially together. Husband and wife. A true power couple. I love it.
Enough talk… here we go, on to the reason you came to this blog post…the photos!!!
Connor was such a gentleman all day long. And quite handsome yes? That dress though…Bridesmaid first look – the hottest new trend that we LOVE. Just look at those reactions!! First look – love this angle Sara caught while hiding in the bushes. I tell you, some of the best shots are taken from a hiding spot.I can’t even…so so pretty Some of the most laid back and “with it” girls EVER – so so sweet, all of them! Limos are always good ideas for traveling to another location. When photographers can ride too? Yes please! This moment with Maggie’s sweet special needs sister… I definitely cried. (I mean, that’s when the bug flew in my eye. Yeah that’s it…)
Bonus points for giving us portrait time during cocktail hour which happened to be golden hourAnd the party begins…every age group was represented on the dance floorI think we call this “the Gator”. Still not sure what the rules are other than flopping on the floor! And sister Charlotte steals the show in the best way possible and busts a move with this awesome groomsman. To say it was a gorgeous evening would be an understatement. We loved every minute of this couple’s celebration.
