Well, fall is a busy busy time. We are always packed to the brim with engagement sessions, weddings and family sessions. I love them all, but man do I love a good fall engagement when the colors cooperate. This engagement session is one that’s near and dear to our hearts. Sara, our assistant and former sunday school student, has been dating Trey for a couple of years, and he proposed to her by “kidnapping” her away to the beach this spring. So sweet! Anyway, we love this couple and are so glad Trey entered Sara’s life because he’s perfect for her and we are so happy she’s so happy!
Back to the stars aligning for fall colors… this session had to be rescheduled twice: one because of a wedding and one because of my extreme sickness. So I was incredibly worried about pushing it so late in the fall, but as it so happened, the day could NOT have been better. Cloudy with a heavy fog doesn’t sound appealing but it was so gorgeous up there at Bee Rock and really made for a cozy, romantic session for these two. Ok, I’ll stop blabbing and let you get to these precious photos. Enjoy!
This ring? So adorable with the sweet details under the diamond
One of the many great things about Sara being our assistant is that she sees the same little spots we do. A neighbor’s front yard worked perfectly with the gingko tree in full bloom. The next day the leaves were gone. Whew!
That FOG!!! Swoon!
Those colors!! Swoon again!
A real heart leaf we found on our hike up to bee rock – seriously it called to me!
