Jade and Justin chose their wedding date based on a very special reason – Justin’s grandparents, who were a huge influence to this couple, had gotten married on that day 51 years before. It was a magnificent gesture, a beautiful sentiment, and worked out perfectly. We arrived at their church ready to capture all of the anticipation as they got ready. As we began portraits outside, the wind was chilly but the sun was warm, and these guys and their wedding party were troopers. The ceremony included a song by Justin’s grandmother to his grandfather (who actually officiated the ceremony!) and there were several tissues needed – guys it was precious! And you’ll see from the post, this new bride and groom gave us a whole hour of portraits – so we got the lovliest of shots because of ample time in good light.
