For months we anticipated Liz and Richmond’s wedding at the Clark House in Livingston, Tennessee. We had heard how elegant and detail-rich it was going to be, but most of all, as we followed this cutie-patootie couple on social media, we felt like we already knew them. Though we couldn’t meet in person, we chatted over the months leading up to the big day and I fell in love with this girl – a planner like me, who was super forthcoming about her dreams and vision, and we worked through a timeline and shot ideas like a pair of besties.
Their wedding day was just as gorgeous as we imagined it would be. Isn’t everything at the Clark House? The girls were amazing, the guys were so fun, and their families were so incredibly kind. Even though the Tennessee vs. Georgia game was on and the fourth quarter hit right during the ceremony, this couple didn’t show it – they simply glided through their day with ease and grace. After the ceremony when the bridal party all gathered into the house to celebrate Liz and Richmond’s official union, we heard a thunderous ROAR of excitement. Nope, not because of the vows, but because UT had won in a last minute play that defeated Georgia for the first time in years!
Onto the reception as the temps dropped, the cozy settled in – guests warmed up by the bar and danced the night away in a beautiful setting with lights illuminating the October darkness. It was perfect and amazing and we are so thrilled to have been there with these guys as they officially start their life together.
