Emily and Matt were so laid back during their engagement session. No hype or frills needed, just pure love. During our meeting we found so much in common that we instantly fell in love with these two (and Emily’s mom Becky) as we chatted about their upcoming Del Monaco wedding scheduled for next summer. So, as we planned their engagement session and spent time with this couple while we grabbed these images, we found ourselves even more fond of them. We noticed that their love is steadfast, it is constant – kind of like the steady waves that are always moving just enough to calm you. It is a beautiful and sweet kind of love, the kind that can just sit still and be content in its magic if it wants to.
This couple chose two iconic hotspots and personal favorites for their session: Dogwood Park in Downtown Cookeville, and Cane Creek in outer Cookeville. Under the tint of leaves changing, the sun dropping quicker in the sky, and pink-colored sunsets, we laughed with them and learned more about them. Our time with these two was special and we have a great deal of anticipation for their big day where they’ll finally be saying “I Do!”
