Imagine being surrounded by 14 of your closest family and friends and speaking your deepest words of commitment to your loved one on a balcony. That’s exactly what Alissa and James did a couple of weeks ago. It was a wonderful spring day with blue skies, peppered with small clouds that were pushed along by the wind. This couple, along with their small crew, traveled from Nashville to Baxter in order to celebrate their love at Del Monaco Winery and Vineyards. When we talked with them about their elopement style wedding day and the plans included a waffle bar, we were sold 🙂 Honestly this couple was one of our most laid back of all time, trusting us with every step and just truly enjoying their day (and their waffles)(and their people.)
This was our first wedding of the season and it was a perfect one because of these wonderful folks. This couple, along with their family, made us truly feel welcomed at we witnessed and documented this special occasion for them. It was a lovely wedding and we were so honored to be there. I know I say that a lot, but it’s true. People trusting us with the most important day of their lives, whether it’s big or small, is an amazing feeling, and we are so thankful.
