Carrie & Ryan came all the way from Indiana to little ole’ Baxter, Tennessee for their gorgeous wedding. They are both wine lovers, and after seeking out several wineries all across the region, settled on our very own Del Monaco Winery. This couple and their families decided to make it a destination wedding, and so friends and family from all over the country (and beyond) all gathered together here among the vineyards for Carrie and Ryan to say “I Do.”
We met with this couple for a planning meeting earlier in the year and instantly fell in love. They were so likeable and Carrie’s parents so adorable, we hit it off great and got to know more about them, their background, their proposal story, and plans for the big day. So as the wedding approached, we couldn’t wait to spend the day with them.
As June weddings often go, we had tremendous heat, sun, and this time even some rain. But as guests trickled in to their seats for the ceremony, the tiny drops slowed to a stop and Carrie and her father took the long walk toward the aisle. The ceremony was full of just the right amount of laughter and sweetness all rolled into one, and the bride and groom quickly became husband and wife. Their guests were treated to amazing food by the famous Chef Barry of The Bull & Thistle and then they danced all night, staying dry inside as the rain moved back in and drenched the grounds. We can’t tell you just how much we enjoyed this couple and their amazing families, and we are hoping that our paths cross again soon!!!
