We met Megan and her mom a few months ago to chat about her upcoming wedding. We fell in love with her ideas, her wedding venue, and her love for photography. Erin & Jack ~ Engaged

We met Erin through a mutual photographer friend and even from our first ‘meeting’ (which was over skype) we just knew we loved her. She’s fun-loving and has an amazing personality. When we met up for our engagement session, she and Jack were ready to go, and even with a last minute location change, we had a beautiful setting. Beth & Justin ~ Engaged

Beth and Justin met us in the beautiful city of Chattanooga for their engagement session. The weather was splendid and we had so much fun with this couple. We rode the carousel for some different pics, and we walked all around Coolidge Park, finding fun and pretty spots as we went. Their wedding will be so special, because this couple is obviously super sweet and in love with each other. We can’t wait! Here are a few from our outing with them. Cindy and Randy got engaged a couple of months ago. They have a super sweet relationship and when you’re with them, you just feel good. It’s love. It’s real. And it’s beautiful. They have a way of accepting each other and putting each other first, which is something that a good marriage certainly needs. During our engagement session, Randy proved over and over again that he would do anything for his bride-to-be by wading in freezing water, driving over rocky roads, and even helping me find great spots for photos. This engagement session was a very fun one. You see, Erin is Brandon’s sister. We have had the unique opportunity to watch their relationship progress and were very excited when Matt popped the question. Since they are planning their wedding for next fall in Nashville, they wanted to bring in some Cookeville scenes into their engagement photos. So we started at the depot and worked our way around town. Erin’s laugh is contagious and Matt is simply perfect for her, always making sure she’s happy. These two made for a great session and we had a beautiful day for it.

{Andrea & Caleb ~ Engaged}

Brandon and I got to know this awesome couple not too long ago. They are so much fun to hang out with, and we knew their engagement session couldn’t disappoint. We had several locations in mind but most of all we knew we wanted to have fun, which we certainly did. Caleb is constantly making Andrea laugh, and it’s so sweet watching how well they interact with each other. We are blessed to call them friends and are excited about them starting their life as husband and wife next March! Enjoy the preview!

{Lauren & Mark ~ Engaged}

Lauren and Mark got engaged this January, and they are such a sweet couple. We met with them about their wedding photography and you could just see the sparkle in both their eyes. We are so excited to be working with them, and their engagement session did not disappoint. It was a hot day for photos, but they were both troopers – wading in creeks, tromping in fields, and dancing on rooftops. It was so fun getting to know this couple more, and we are looking forward to their September wedding. Enjoy this little sneak peek from last week’s session:

{Lauren & Landon ~ Engaged}

We met up with Lauren and Landon recently at their family farm in Crab Orchard, TN, which is where their wedding will be held later this month. The location was amazing, so much beautiful land – like a state park. But the best part about the day was this couple. They are obviously super in love, and they have a sweet innocence about them that I absolutely adore. We cannot wait to see them say their vows on their wedding day! {Kristen & Brian ~ Engaged}

To say that Kristen and Brian’s engagement session was fun would be an understatement! Brandon and I traveled to Knoxville for their photos and we had so much fun hanging with these two! My mouth and stomach were sore afterward from laughing and smiling so much. Both Kristen and Brian are gymnasts, and told me beforehand that they wanted some “fun” photos. So, we played leapfrog, splashed in the water, and did some handstands. It was a fantastic day.
