Corey and Matt met each other over 10 years ago. From different states, their paths crossed while in college in Arkansas and they hit it off and became the best of friends. They now live in Tulsa, Oklahoma but Corey has strong ties to Tennessee since she grew up here. Her family spent ample time at Beersheba Springs for many years, so it has a special place in Corey’s heart which made it the absolute PERFECT place for a gorgeous fall wedding. Rachel and Mark had a wonderful wedding day. Not only was it gorgeous outside, but the day started with family all around. This wedding was very much about the important things and the decorations were hand-made, as was their tomato jam for the guests. Their ceremony was at Mark’s family farm, and he had worked all summer to ensure the property was perfect for his bride. Every now and then we come across something we will remember always – this wedding is one of them. Never before have we had SUCH amazingly sweet guests and family that made us feel so welcome and so honored to shoot the occasion. Tamara and Brent’s wedding day couldn’t have turned out better. Gorgeous weather and blue skies covered us as we spent some time for portraits outside at the McKinney home in Gordonsville. This bridal party was spunky but handled the warm temperatures like true wedding champions, and we got some lovely shots in the beautiful setting. The ceremony was precious – and Tamara and Brent got married in the exact spot Tamara’s parents married years prior. Rachel and Elliot got married at one of their favorite beaches on St. George Island, Florida. Rachel walked down through the sand into the aisle-way made of shells they harvested together on their many trips to the island. Elliot awaited her with his sly smile that seems like he’s secretly telling her something without using words. The weather was a bit scary at first, but the rain held off and these two, along with their close friends and family, had a cool and windy but beautiful day of celebration. Lindsay and Morgan are a precious couple. I know I say that a lot, but these two have their foundation firmly rooted in the Lord and their love is so genuine and simple. Their wedding day was held at a church that means so much to them, Church on the Hill, and their reception was at the adorable Saltbox Inn. The day was filled with hand-made touches from Lindsay and her very talented mother (who even made the girls’ bridesmaid dresses herself!) and their guests were all close family and friends who showered them with encouragement and praises all day.
