I know I saw this a lot, but Kellie and Matt were SO MUCH FUN to be around. They are easy going, they love the Lord and they love each other. For their engagement session, we chose two spots in town that are important to them: where they met (Tennessee Tech University) and Matt’s family farm. As we finished up the first location, the sky began making low rumbling sounds and spitting rain. Even with Brandon’s A.D.D. weather-checking tendencies, this storm had evaded the meteorologists and snuck in on us. So, we called it a day and met the following week to finish up the session. Not our normal plan of action, but sometimes you gotta roll with the punches. This actually gave us MORE time with this darling duo, which we were totally loving. Not only did their laid-back personalities help us to get more creative, they would spontaneously break out into laughter, which is always fun to photograph.
