Heather and Chris began their wedding planning journey after he proposed while the two were vacationing in Italy. These two amazing people live in Manhattan, New York, and happened upon our photography site while searching for a photographer for their destination (to Tennessee) wedding. With family all over the country, they settled on the absolutely gorgeous Whitestone County Inn in Kingston, Tennessee. They had a beautifully elegant outdoor wedding planned, with a gazebo that overlooked the horse pastures, barns, and a stunning lake.
However, as luck would have it, the weather had other plans. The morning of the wedding, the rain simply showed no chances of slowing, so the ceremony for these two lovebirds was moved into the rustic chapel. Just as beautiful as she could be, bride Heather opened the double wooden doors and walked to her groom. As they embraced, we knew that it didn’t matter where they got married, as long as they were with each other, nothing else mattered. After their vows. we moved to the reception hall, where these two celebrated with friends and family -almost all of whom had traveled across several states to witness the union.
It was beautiful to see the support and love in the room for this couple, and the air was just filled with pure joy. Here are a few photos from Chris and Heather’s beautiful east TN celebration.
(And don’t forget to check back for their NYC/Central Park engagement session that we had the absolute pleasure of shooting recently as well!)
