As soon as we first spoke with Jade and her fiance Justin, we just fell in love with them. They were just.so.precious!!! Their love story is a sweet one, and since they met at church, faith plays an important role in their lives. For their engagement session, since it was winter, we had to be a tad bit more careful with location scouting and we kept a close eye on the weather. We found a not-freezing day, and it worked out perfectly. They chose Justin’s family property and we had a blast with the gorgeous red barn and then we hopped into the backyard for some more special shots. Though the sky was cloudy, they laughed the whole time and we had a great time photographing this happy couple. We ended in a field which was lovely, but laden with cow patties, and I’m telling you, I came SO close to laying in poo a couple of times. Since the temperature dropped quickly at the end of the day, our freezing little hands grabbed some hot chocolate at the neighbor’s house (thanks Penny!) and called it a day. If their April wedding is anywhere near as SWEET as this couple, there won’t be any need for cake. Just kidding, there better be cake 🙂
