This couple lives and works out of state, so most of our communication had been done via skype and email, and although we hadn’t met them in person until the day of the session, we already knew we loved them. Megan and Ryan got married at Lakeside last fall. The morning started with freezing temperatures and the forecast of rain, but as we arrived, the sun decided to shine on this sweet couple, so out it came, and with it came the warmth. It became an absolutely beautiful day – even if it was freezing cold. Their ceremony was precious, complete with tears as well as laughter. We met Megan and her mom a few months ago to chat about her upcoming wedding. We fell in love with her ideas, her wedding venue, and her love for photography. But our eyes must have lit up so bright when she mentioned her father’s vintage boat and how they’d love to incorporate it for their engagement shoot. Megan and Ryan worked at a boat dock together, so the lake is special to them, and her dad’s boat was perfect for the type of session we wanted. This is one of the most fun couples, and oh-so perfect for each other! Kristen and Brian had an outdoor wedding at Lake Frances, where they work a gymnastics camp during the summers. Both bride and groom were so completely relaxed and content on their wedding day, and their attendants were SO much fun to be around. The ceremony by the lake was super sweet, especially when Kristen began bouncing up and down with excitement; and their reception was filled with fun and crazy dancing.
